- Once the sample is taken, a bar is poured from the remaining metal and the sample is assayed. Each sample from the glass tube is cut into three sections, and each sample is dissolved slowly to eliminate any violent reactions.
- After dissolving, each of the three samples is run through an ICP machine (Inductively Coupled Plasma) – the most sophisticated machine on the market. It reads with 99.995% accuracy and has the ability to read all four precious metals at one time. Our in-house Chemist conducts the entire process and analyzes the results.
