The First Melt
- After grinding down the received materials, solids are mixed with flux and melted. The flux helps separate metal from non-metal. Upon melting, the material separates into slag and metal. We then take the slag and re-process it to see if there is any metal left behind - unique in this industry. The helps ensure maximum yield.
The Second Melt
- The metal is melted a second time and a sample is taken in a vacuum pin tube. This method is superior to drilling as it ensures a homogeneous mixture and accurate sampling.
